Please help us to stay on time for appointments for all of our patients:

For new patients coming into the practice, if you are taking 5 or more medications, and have more than 2 medical conditions, it is very helpful to come in 30 minutes early for your appointment, or drop your paperwork off prior to the appointment. We understand that most people do not know (nor do we expect anyone to know) just how much work it takes to enter all data into our electronic health record.

It can take up to 45 minutes to enter patient demographics, medical history, surgical history, social history, allergies, and medications. If you come at the time you are scheduled, and have a lengthy medical history, there is a chance it could be 45 minutes to an hour before you are seen by a provider.

This can not only frustrate you, but also causes a delay for our other patients. Unfortunately, if we are running behind due to a lengthy data entry process, it can cause the providers to feel hurried, and the appointment times may have to be shortened or rescheduled.
